Nascida em 1987, filha de Liduina e neta de Maria e Alice, Leonina, Alice Lara nasceu e cresceu no Distrito Federal, mais precisamente nas cidades satélites de Taguatinga e Vicente Pires. Seu campo de pesquisa no mundo da pintura é a investigação da representação de animais: como estes se relacionam com os seres humanos e de que forma tais interações impactam ambas as partes.
Alice é graduada em Artes Visuais com licenciatura e bacharelado pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB). Além disso, possui um mestrado em poéticas visuais pela ECA-USP. Sua contribuição para o cenário artístico lhe rendeu duas indicaçôes ao Prêmio Pipa, sendo finalista nas duas ediçõs em que participou, bem como prêmios no- táveis, incluindo o “Arte Pará 2012” e o “22º Salão Anapolino de Artes Visuais”.

Born at the satellite cities of Taguatinga and Vicente Pires. Her focus in the realm of painting is centered on investigating the representation of animals: how they interact with humans and how these interactions mutually impact both parties.
Alice holds a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the University of Brasília (UnB) and a Master’s degree in visual poetics from ECA-USP. Her contribution to the artistic scene has earned her two Pipa Prize nominations, as well as notable awards inclu- ding the “Arte Pará 2012” and the “22nd Anapolino Visual Arts Salon.”
Her work is also featured in the collection of the Museum of Art of Rio. Throughout her career, she has taken part in numerous in- dividual and collective exhibitions, with her most recent solo exhibition titled “As Ordens do Paraíso,” held at CCSP in 2021.
